We’re looking for an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team on a maternity cover contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the movement of products across our global supply chain, ensuring goods are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and on time. Working closely with freight partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you’ll be instrumental in keeping our logistics operation running smoothly whilst helping us continuously improve the way we work.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating international inbound and outbound shipments across air, sea, and road freight.
- Liaising with freight forwarders, carriers, customs agents, and suppliers.
- Monitoring shipments and proactively resolving delivery, customs, and transportation issues.
- Managing logistics documentation and ensuring compliance with import/export requirements.
- Reviewing freight costs and invoices, ensuring accuracy and cost efficiency.
- Producing logistics reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Supporting operational improvement initiatives and helping to drive best practice across the supply chain.
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues and external partners.
About You
You’ll have experience working within logistics, supply chain, freight, or import/export operations and be confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Freight Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with international logistics, freight forwarders and third-party logistics providers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and work independently.
Desirable
- Knowledge of customs procedures and international trade compliance.
- Understanding of Incoterms and UK import/export processes.
- Experience using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Experience within retail, FMCG, distribution, or wholesale environments.

Contract Details
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis for up to 15 months to provide maternity cover. The contract may end earlier should the current postholder return sooner than anticipated.
