Microsoft Corporation is a multinational American company that develops, Manufactures, Licenses and sells software for computers and consumer electronics. Its best known products are the line of software for personalised computers including the operating systems Microsoft Windows and document producing software Microsoft Office, web browser Internet Explorer and the video game console and home entertainment system series Xbox. Microsoft is one of the world’s most valuable companies and the world’s largest software developer.
As well as the video games market Microsoft have become active in markets including mobile phones; with their Windows Phone Operating System, Internet Search Engine: with Bing, and tablet computers with the Microsoft Surface which also happened to be the first time Microsoft produced a personalised computer (having previously only produced software for personalised computers).
